Ovaj predmet će na jedan interesantan i studentima prikladan način predstaviti baznu tematiku iz teorije i dizajna antena. Pored teoretskih koncepata studenti će imati mogućnost da simuliraju niz antenskih konfiguracija u popularnim softverskim alatima kako bi se bolje upoznali sa načinom kako antene funkcioniraju. Također će po mogućnosti studentima biti ponuđeno i nekoliko mjernih laboratorijskih vježbi. Kurs će biti prilagođen nivou predznanja studenata četvrtog semestra odsjeka telekomunikacija. Preduvjet za uspješno slušanje tematike kursa je solidno znanje inžinjerske matematike, teorije električnih kola i teorije elektromagnetnih polja.
