Lecturing topics include:artificial intelligence definitions,terminology and genesis; soft computing; fuzzy logic, fuzzy sets, approximate reasoning, Sugeno, Mamdani, Tsukamoto  reasoning: artificial neural networks,perceptron, linear model, nonlinear back propagation  model, training and learning,  dimensionality, criteria errors;
expert systems, inference machine, agents, multi-layer architecture; decision support model systems and applications.
Laboratory exercise include: application of ANN toolbox,fuzzy logic toolbox and  genetic optimization toolbox; building intelligent systems using MATLAB GUI; modeling and simulation of fuzzy logic technical and biomedical systems, modeling and simulation of neural network technical and biomedical systems, optimization of intelligent systems, programing of robot arms.
